Frequently Asked Questions

Office Policies

  • By scheduling an appointment with us you are agreeing to the our cancellation policy. When you schedule you will get a text and email reminder in which you will confirm your appointment via the square link. If you can not make that appointment, there are options in that same link to reschedule appointment or cancel. We require 24 hours notice prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Our system automatically charges a cancellation fee or “no show” fee if you do not show up to your appointment. The cancellation fee is $100 for all services, and $50 for follow ups or consultations. These fees do not credit to your next appointment. This also applies for showing up more than 8 minutes late your appointment. To see the full cancellation policy, please scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and click “cancellation policy”

  • You can reschedule or cancel any appointment via the link in your confirmation email or text that is sent automatically after booking! Additionally, you can call us at 585-616-0196.

Cancellations via social media will not be accepted.

  • Please let us know immediately if you are going to be late to your appointment by calling us! We have a 8 minute grace period for all appointments. If you are going to be later than this, you will have to reschedule as we can not safely accommodate your appointment in a shorter time frame. The cancellation fee will apply.

  • We have worked hard to create an environment where our clients can relax for a small portion of their crazy busy days. Not only do we want to keep that vibe for all, we are simultaneously maintaining a safe medical facility; remember, we are often working with needles in faces and it requires a lot of care and focus. We kindly request that you not bring your child(ren) to your appointment.

With that being said, we understand that life happens. If you truly have issues finding childcare, please call our office to give us a heads up so we can try to best accommodate you.

  • We do offer special pricing and discounts from time to time – you can find them posted here on our website.

We always post promotions on our Instagram accounts (@tinytoxcollab, @tinytoxer_michelle, @k2collabs, and @injectorsarina ) as well, so be sure to give us a follow!

PLUS… There are also opportunities for discounts through loyalty programs we are affiliated with. You can find more info on those here!

  • Yes! You can purchase them here.

Treatments

  • Our team consists of board-certified medical professionals who have worked in critical care/hospital settings as well as years of experience specifically with these cosmetic injection procedures. Each injector goes through a thorough onboarding and rigorous training prior to taking on our clients from the public. We also routinely attend hands-on trainings in our office and around the country for continuing education.
We’re not messing around. You are truly in safe, educated, skilled hands.

  • We use Juvederm, Restylane, Botox, Dysport, and Revanesse products for Injectable services, used for decades in the cosmetic medicine field and highly studied and regulated. All products are FDA approved and bought in America. We purchased our products directly from the company via their local representatives, who in turn educate us on product label uses and provide us with trainings.

The specific product(s) we use in your appointment may depend on your goals as well as medical history. Your expert injectors will know what product is best for you!

  • Yes, and they’re free! Come in and meet us, get a feel for our office and providers, and see what you think as we discuss your goals.

For Injectables: if we have time we can often perform that service at the time of consult.

For Skin: due to the length of our facial services, we are often not able to treat that day, however we will book your service with you after discussing your personalized plan!

  • We LOVE THIS! Our nurse injectors have gotten hundreds of brides (and grooms) wedding ready. If you are deciding to do filler, we suggest 2 months prior so everything can settle and have time to make tweaks well before the big day so you’re not walking down the aisle with bruises or.unevenness. For toxins, we suggest 1 month out so that you are at the peak of your neurotoxin working, but it is still soft and effective.

As for facial treatments, we highly suggest coming in 6+ months prior to make a plan for your skin. However let’s be real, even a facial a month to a week before will help you glow!

  • We are unable to provide any of our Injectable services if you are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.

We are, however, able to offer Diamond Glow Facials and other select facial treatments!

  • Yes! We are now offering payment plans through Cherry. Treat yourself now and pay later! If you're interested, please apply here before your appointment. https://pay.withcherry.com/tinytoxcollab Get preapproved before your next treatment. Applying won’t harm your credit!

Care Credit is another financing option for patients for cosmetic procedures. These procedures can range from minor injectables to major surgeries. You can apply online and check the financing options available to you at www.carecredit.com.

Bruising and Post Treatment Care

  • Bruising (“ecchymosis” in medical terminology) is the result of blood showing under the skin after a trauma. In aesthetics, this is usually caused by a needle nicking or damaging a small blood vessel. And let’s be real: we have a vast supply of small and large blood vessels in the face… so bruising can occur any time needle-to-skin contact occurs.

Bruising can happen to anyone... at any time… even if your injector is extra careful, even if you haven’t bruised during treatments in the past, even if you “don’t bruise easily”, even with the tiniest of needles and steadiest of hands!

    • Medications (such as ibuprofen or other blood thinning drugs)

    • Some medical history/conditions

    • Nearing your period

    • Diets

    • Vitamin consumption (especially Vitamin E)

    • Recent viral or bacterial infection

    • Needle width or gauge (we use special small needles)

    • Injection techniques (don’t worry, we know what we’re doing)

    • Certain areas of injection (ie. lips and near eye area - so many tiny blood vessels!)

  • Honestly, we have no way of knowing! Maybe! Maybe not! Maybe at one appointment but not the next!

If you take the precautions/considerations we’ve listed above and come into your appointment knowing that bruises are temporary but possible, then that’s a healthy, realistic mindset. Understand there is always risk of bruising which can come in minor, mild, moderate, or severe.

If you have an upcoming event or vacation that you really don’t want to worry about bruising for… we highly suggest you wait until after that special event (or plan ahead).

    • Avoid strenuous activity immediately before and after treatment. We suggest waiting 12-24 hours before hot & heavy workouts!

    • Avoid alcohol consumption for 5 days prior to treatments.

    • Avoid blood thinning agents and vitamins 5 days before treatments (unless medically indicated).

    • Drink lots of water before and after!

  • We’ve all been there. Every body heals differently, so it’s hard for us to confidently say what will work best and how quickly the bruising will subside. That said, we suggest:

    • Drinking lots of water.

    • Icing the area on and off for a day or two
